Location: Beaches
adjoining Cape Town

The 'Atlantic side' of the Cape Peninsula offers, through its irresistible combination of mountain and beaches, some of the most spectacular coastlines in the world. We have presented you with a selection of beaches, that lend themselves to celebrating your wedding.

This venue lies on Table Bay, 25 km north of Cape Town and offers the most exquisite view of Cape Town and Table Mountain. Bloubergstrand is a wide, lonely beach, which is particularly suited for wind and kite surfing. As the South-Easter wind can blow quite fiercely, it is not particularly suited for swimming.

This is where the beautiful and the rich come to be seen! This venue is situated 3 kilometers from Seapoint and boasts a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Access to the beach is from Victoria Road via a flight of steps. As the water temperature is rarely above 16 C, beach tennis, Frisbee and sunbathing are the more obvious options.
Camps Bay
Camps Bay lies one km south of Clifton. Insiders, however, say that Camps Bay is more beautiful. This beach attracts a lot of wind and waves are pretty high, so one has to be careful when swimming, especially as there are no life guards on duty. The centre of Town is only 15 minutes from the beach.

Only 18 kilometres away from Cape Town, this beach is small and very private and offers intimate views of fantastic sunsets. The beach is framed by two series of granite stones. The water is cold, yet ideal to surf.

This is where you will find the "Longbeach", the longest in the Cape (5km). Few people visit the beach and is therefore an ideal beach for an intimate and romantic wedding.

On the southern tip of the “Longbeach”, this small village has a quaint charm and boasts a beautiful lighthouse. Kommetjie lies on the southern tips of the "Longbeach".
